Manal returned to the country she grew up in with a repertoire of international experience, gained from her time in Switzerland and from working at The Ritz Carlton in the USA.  She went on to share her expertise at the Gulf Hotel and later, as a culinary instructor and then General Manager at the Gulf Institute of Culinary Arts (G.I.C.A.). In her current position, her focus is on elevating culinary education in Bahrain and the Middle East.

When asked what advice she would give to anyone hoping to advance in the industry, Manal said, "Long hours and rigorous days will only benefit you in the long run, so it might seem challenging in the beginning, but you’ll feel rewarded after your day at work, and you’ll feel more appreciative of the little things in life.”

Manal’s journey is a testament to the power of hard work, continuous learning, and embracing new opportunities.
